Book Clubs
Reading Rock Books hosts three book clubs. These clubs meet in our gallery and receive 15% off their reading selections. Anyone is welcome to join any of the clubs listed here. If you’re interested in any of these clubs, would like more information about them, or would like to get a discount for an existing book club through Reading Rock, please email Laura at bookclub@thereadingrock.com or stop by the store.

Mystery Book Club
Our original book club, started the month after the store opened, has been meeting since September 2008. Led by store manager Laura Hill, this club meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm, with the exception of November and December. Book selections through Jan. 2011 are listed below:
Spirit of 42 Christian Book Club
This club is organized by Mick Tierney, but members take turns leading meetings. Books discussed are both fiction and nonfiction. Past selections include The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis, The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel and the first of Jan Karon’s Mitford series. During each meeting, the club decides the book for the following month. Meetings are the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm.

Led by Cheryl Scott, this exciting new book club, especially for mystery lovers, will meet on the third Thursday of the month at 7pm at Reading Rock Books.
